the big three upgrade

hey guys, i have a 1.5 litre lanos and would like to do a big three upgrade on the engine. any idea how to do so?

i tried looking at the stickied ground wire installation, but the pictures seem to be missing.

also where would i run the amplifier power wire through the firewall?

you don't need pictures

as long as you don't ground the (+) on the alternator, you can't really go wrong.
just make sure you sand away the paint from under the bolt

if you can't do it without pictures, you shouldn't be doing it. it's very simple

as for amp power, there are a few spots on the firewall. just cut a slit through a rubber grommet and run the wire through

I found the chassis ground I think ( behind the battery) so I upgraded that one.
From the positive, one cable goes to the fusebox, the other goes to the alternator, I think, just having trouble seeing where it goes.
Where's the engine ground?

from the how to:
The *ONLY* wires that are necessary for this upgrade are:

1) Battery negative to body
2) Body to engine block

There are no other grounds that are necessary for better performance or better lighting or a stereo system.

The positive connection that is necessary is:

1) Battery positive to alternator positive output

the engine ground is anywhere on the engine
if you ground it near the spark plugs, you get improved spark so that's a good place to put it (you can put it on the bolt on the exhaust heat shield if you want; using a multimeter, find somewhere with low resistance)
the radiator mount is a good body ground as it apparently has low resistance.
